Some nice popovers/camp shirts this season.

Wish they had done the popover in the ringspun/dark denim, this style would very nice in a linen/mix fabric too.

those were made again in limited supply for the past fall winter.

its specifically a winter peice as its down filled. fyi, its an amazing versatile peice and you'd be surprised how far that + a bedford goes in freezing cold ny temperatures. i've hardly worn my other EG winter coats because of that combo.

Yeah, I regret not buying it when I had the chance. Now I can't find them in stores or online

Damn it, they made the shoulders APC like on their Chambray this season. I'm so annoyed, I've always been a happy Medium and they go ahead and change up their sizes, bah! I know I gained 3-5lbs, but everything else from past seasons still fit loosely on me, stop changing things...

how do you guys usually wear the 19th century button downs? i feel like the only way to wear them is tucked otherwise they "flow" too much like a dress because of where the buttons end

for sure tucked unless you're wearing loose eg pants and only then if you're a chill japanese man.
also, I know the irving pants aren't in line with what the rest of what eg's doing, but how do they fit? tts? look pretty slim

Aren't the gussets too high to tuck them in? I've never owned one of the 19th century bd's for this reason.

only too high if you're not wearing 19th century pants with massive rises, right?

for reference guys with all EG i am an XS, in work shirt i am an XS yet in the camp shirt i would need a XXS, it fits quite large IMO. as far as the popover goes i'm not sure, as i'm not a huge EG fan, i've just tried on a good amount of the garments.

Yep. I also sized down on the camp shirt.

The Bureau has both popover and camp shirt measurements as well. According to their measurements, the camp shirt P2P is half inch larger than the workshirts.

Based on the shoulder measurements, it seems like you could follow Robin's advice about being able to size up one on the popover shirts. Anyone else who actually owns both shirts want to chime in on their fits compared to the longsleeve EG shirts?

Stay true to size on the popover.

I saw them last week at the Steven Alan store in Trebeca. They had black and tan ones. Hope that helps.

Just got the linen boater hat from Context today and it KILLS. Best hat I could hope for this spring/summer no doubt.

Even though I love it, I am not sure if I can pull off the boater. I am thinking a khaki metallic poplin porkpie.

The hat really isn't a boater in the traditional sense, I'll post a fit pic when it's sunny.
