Not sold on the houndstooth. Looks better on vintage Porsche seats than on a bedford or fatigue pants. I looked like a baker's apprentice in it.

Aviator emerges as one of my favorite pieces this season and will get the grey one as well. I need to size up on those to XL. I think Nepenthes also had the grey one.

Need to get my act together and finally buy the stuff. Likely need your guys help in ID'ing a few pieces that I only saw in the lookbook but not at retailers yet.

How did you size it compared to your EG shirts and jackets?

I wear a medium in befords, bakers, trumans, etc but small in EG shirts and cruiser jackets. I went with the small being it is unlined and it fits me comfortably - not tight, but not loose either.

I usually wear L in EG - For the Aviator, I have to size up to XL as I have to for Andover, Baker, etc. this summer.

Will there be twill and/or linen Bedfords this season? Not sold on the ripstop fabric...

I can't choose between the navy baker, and the navy baker with polka dot print. Is the navy fabric the same on both coats, just with one being printed? Or is it an entirely different fabric?

Am I thinking too much about this? :nodding:

I picked up the grey aviator, as well, and went with my shirt size (M) – fits really well

Which shirts from which seasons? The sizing is pretty inconsistent.

Tried on the Daytons today. Chambray and hippie foulard are tts if wrinkles are ironed out basket weave is about a half size short. I was actually pretty disappointed in the fit this season, definitely weird. The chambray is a really crappy starchy fabric that theve been using with their workshirts but with a steam or fabric softener it's ok. I picked up the chambray Dayton, looks better as a mid layer than the basket weave

I don't think EG's sizing is all that inconsistent. I have a ~40" chest and wear a M in workshirts, miners, western shirts, popovers, chaunceys, 19th century bds, and tab collars from the last 4-5 seasons. The smalls for all of these that I've tried on "fit" me as well, but are too short.
