Ian got their first shipment in today and I was able to check it out this evening before they closed. There are a ton of shirts, some shorts, two types of the waistcoats, and a full size range of the pathfinder jackets in green. I'll throw up some pictures of the stuff that I'll get tomorrow.

Yes they do. And which one you goons called right when they opened today for the blue plaid binocular shirt in medium? [IMG] Edit: Was that you batorizer? I got the other one in medium.

The fit's very good actually and I don't think I'll need to get it altered. It's boxy (of course), but it's still trim through the body, chest, and shoulders.

Green Pathfinder, L. The medium seemed about the same in the shoulders, but was more snug through the chest for me. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Black stripe shawlcollar vest, M. The fit on the waistcoats from this season seem slightly slimmer than F/W, but not by much. The fabric seems like a light blue, until you get really close to it. [IMG] [IMG] Blue Plaid Binocular Shirt, M. As mentioned above, the fit is boxy (with no shaping through the sides), but not overly large and baggy. [IMG] [IMG] White Cotton polo with Raglan sleeve shoulders, M. The fit is trim, but not tight, and it reminds me of the many polos that you see for sports. [IMG] I also tried on some of the western shirts that they got in, and the fit on those all seem very good (at least for me, in mediums). I did not try on the shorts, but I might yet still get a pair - they had them in the blue floral pattern, a khaki fabric (with a cinch back waist), and in dark green.

Nice pickups robin. I've been expecting a polo out of these guys, and raglan sleeve on top of that. Very interesting.

    regarding EG sizing in general...
I just picked up my first EG piece, the light blue chambray work shirt from f/w (love it!). I got this in a size XL which fits better than I expected, the shoulders are spot on, and the fit is loose. I also tried on the binocular shirt, which fits good over the shoudlers and the sleeves in XL.
How are the shoulders on different sizes? Would a L shirt be smaller over the shoulders, or the same as an xl? Just curious for further internet shopping. Is the workshirt representative of EG sizing overall?

So the new workshirts are a cotton/poly blend of 70/30. I hope they're not trending away from using all cotton. Is there something in the reverse plaid BD that requires polyester?

The 100% cotton SS07 Plaid shirts were very shear and the 100% cotton FW Plaid Flannels are considerably thick. I'm guessing that in order to get the inside/out effect of the plaid the material had to be of a certain thickness? And to make it light enough for SS they may have had to use polyester?

EG sizing is pretty much allover the place from piece to piece, including shirts. I'm a medium in some shirts and medium in others. The different materials between shirts of the same model and also the material's reaction to the washing process EG performs results in shirts with different fits across the board, including within the same size. I fit nicely in a medium white 19th BD shirt in one store and the medium in another was slightly bigger. Best thing to do is ask for measurements. If you check out all the JP internet websites, just within one website, the difference between the different material shirts within the same model (19th BD, workshirt, etc.) will have slightly different measurements. Anything of theirs that I buy online I'm weary of the sizing.

I tried this one on and it had a really nice 70's vintage feel to it. Too bold for me, but I could see others wearing it.
