If anyone is looking for the black painter cords, Notre has them on sale for 30% off right now. I just picked up the black pair one size down from the olive pair I have.

Still didn’t return them.. actually I started considering keeping them, mainly for longer trips etc.
Quality is far worse than I expected, they look decent on feet but holy **** they are extremely comfy. Probably the comfiest shoes I owned, this alone made me consider keeping them.

One thing that bothers me is this poorly constructed toe box on right shoe, it’s slightly asymmetrical compared to left one.
Is it even worth going throught the hustle of exchanging them for different pair in the same color and size?

Is the quality THAT bad? I mean they are what they are, sneakers (or walking shoes?)....They are expensive sneakers that said.

It's worse than some regular Hokas I own, far worse than NB's I own, materials feel cheap, right toebox is a bit asymmetrical but the comfort level and looks (when paired with some baggy pants) are really good.

Thought I was unlucky with the quality of my Hoka Bondi B so ordered another pair, and they are also garbage. Now I have two pairs and each shoe has very slightly different toe box and other defects.

They’re going back tomorrow, fortunately the shipping and returns are free.

THE BAKER JACKET: Red-headed stepchild of EG’s line-up? Webby stores seem to feature them less and less. The resell value of the Bedford soars, while Baker owners can often be seen huddled together on street corners, gritting their teeth and yelling at one another to please buy their jackets.

The design seems neither here nor there. What happened to its demon luster?

Bedford is king! And the wider ‘New Bedford’ lapels are off the charts good.

I’ve never actually tried on a Baker jacket; I just happened to notice they seem much less popular on the secondary market. Its more normal appearance and apparent slim fit has kept me away, as I like the versatility the other jackets afford as far as fluctuating weight goes.
