Dayton for fall 2012 runs big. I have to cuff the sleeves on my large and its a little billowy in the body, moreso than their shirting. Looks better baggier, still recommend tts unless you are in between sizes

hello guys, hope i'm not posting in the wrong place here - if so tell me and i'll remove.

so, i'm 5'7 and 145 pounds. i wear a size 38 OTR jacket in a uniqlo blazer and most other brands. anyways, i bought the attached jacket last winter (or maybe the one before) from dover street market in London. its been sitting in my closet and hasnt been worn more than once as its too big, espically in the body and arms.

so - would you guys recommend i purchase a small, or extra small in the future?? sizing advice would be much appreciated.

also, i'll post the jacket i have. if anyone has a small or extra small they want to trade i would be up for that!

here are the details on mine:
    - purchase last winter or winter before
    - kept in closet on proper sized hanger (kirbys hanger project 15.5)
    - closet also houses bespoke clothes and is well maintained (dusted and shaken out weekly).
    - worn once outdoors
    - herringbone grey
    - gorgeous jacket really. i have bespoke casual jackets made up, but to my eye the EG jackets look stunning with denim whereas bespoke blazers look too "neat".

PICS of jacket (can take pics if anyone wants to trade)

I seen one on one of the French shops last night. Would have been either Novoid, French Trotters or The Next Door. Was possibly the latter. I got my Khaki corduroy Lansdown from Novoid and delivery was pretty quick to the UK.

I'm roughly around the same build as you, but I wear 36S OTR as well as XS in Uniqlo outerwear.

I recommend sizing down to XS for EG from now on. Go for S in outerwear only if you plan on layering underneath.

In my experience, if you know your P2P measurements for EG, you should be fine.

    Awesome piece, btw.

You should measure your chest, and for SC/Jackets, if you're under 37" then go xs, if you're over 38" go small and if you're in between its gonna depend on fit preference and layers worn with the garment (i.e. you want slim fit no layering = XS, you want normal fit and/or gonna layer with it = Small).

The above suggestion is just for the jackets (andover, baker, bedford, truman, etc.) and not for coats, knits or shirts as those fit diferent, I'd say coats and shirts go xs and knits go small.

Also note that at 5'7" the sleeve on the xs jacket will be borderline, maybe a bit short even but they usually have enough material to take out up to 1"

Anybody know where I may be able to purchase the Type 7 reverse sateen pants in Olive in SZ 32 or 34. Also, if you could suggest an equivalent from another brand or want to sell your pair.

    Thanks,
