Loving the new jackets. I'm especially interested in a gray wool herringbone, can't decide between Truman and Baker but I'm leaning towards the Truman. Never tried on a lined jacket from EG (Truman) though, as a reference I own an unlined cotton Bedford which fits perfectly in S. The Truman seem more slim in the waist/hips compared to the Baker. If anyone know the differences in fit between those two I would be glad for some input!

Also loving the Olive Landsdown Corduroy. Anyone know any stockists willing to ship to Europe that stock these two jackets? Thanks.

Not a US shop per se, but I think one of the guys at Nomad in Toronto said they would be carrying the shawl this season

Does anyone have a summary of what different Miner shirts there are this season?
Sorry for my lazyness but don't really know where else to look, thanks.

I rolled by Nepenthes to check these out today and the herringbone Truman is a fantastic jacket. I just can't summon the $552 right now.

frankly given my penchant for jackets just like this, today was a feat of strength not to drop the dollars. I like it much more than a comparable bedford I was also considering (which was like $480 or something), a real standout piece.

OK I'm about to receive my first order of EG Fall/Winter 2012 from [the always helpful and proud to say] my friend Gary Drinkwaters this week. I did quite a colossal this season... I promise to take fit pics and garment detail pics but i shall list what im getting first. Pics to follow. But i believe most of these are on this thread already...

    - E1 Pant / Navy / Wool Serge / W32 (Med)
    - Tab Collar Shirt / Black / Floral / Flannel / S
    - Banded Collar Shirt / White / Black, Grey, Blue pinpoint stripe / S
    - Work Shirt / Indigo / Denim / M
    - Shawl Collar Shirt Jacket / Wool Serge / Olive / S
    - Western Shirt / Chambray / Blue / S
    - Scarf, Pocket Square, Tie / Floral Print / Navy / N/A

...and this is just the beginning.

Hope you'll post fit pic & measurements for this piece. I'm also considering this in navy. Thanks.

    Cool thanks!
Can you comment on the fit at all? Compared to a work shirt?
Does it have the super high cut gussets as well?

Bloomingdale's SF has their (I assume) first delivery on the floor. Plaid and denim workshirts, a plaid miner shirt, navy (I think wool) cinch pants, maybe a few other pieces.... and the standout, the hooded cruiser in olive canvas. I picked up the olive wool version last year, and it's one of my favorite jackets. The hood addition this year is pretty amazing, and unfortunately, so is the price: $576 before tax for an unlined canvas jacket is pretty steep. And do I need two versions of the same jacket in the same color? Oof.

Also, sizing seems a bit slimmer this go 'round; I wear a medium in last years wool version, a large in this years canvas.

How does the fit of the Truman compare to the Bedford? I have a penchant for the Bedford but am swaying towards the Truman this season.
