I've just ordered some Desert Pants from Tres Bien, I'll let you guys know about the fit when they arrive.

I'm a 33' waist and the store recommended I buy a size 30! Not sure about that, they swear the 30 measures as a 32.5 waist, but I asked for a 32 anyway, and I'm still slightly panicking that it will be too tight.

Anyone have their own experience with the desert pant fit?

The desert pant's waist seems to be slightly oversized, although 32.5 on a 30 seems a little bit too large. The size 32 pair I have measures a little over 16.5" with the waist aligned BiG style.

I have a true 32 waist and it's still a little loose even with a shirt tucked in. Maybe we can trade if it's too tight for you. Despite the larger than tagged waist, the cut falls nicely in between the Irving (super skinny) and fatigue pant.

I saw some charcoal ones but didnt check labels and now Im not sure if they were the oxford wool or the w/c twill, Im cosidering getting them myself (jacket & pants) but I just need to make time and go back to try the pants as I've never tried on the cinch pants.

They were the same charcoal color as the hartford jacket and pants hence why I think they might be oxford wool but since I didnt touch the materials I really cant be sure.

This is the piece I'm talking about:

It just looks like great fabric and fit, easy to wear and my first pick this season. Still hope someone will get it! ( Does it come with a vest?)

Yes ^ thats the one I saw along with matching cinch pants, the color is similar to the hartford jacket which was right beside it on the rack.
