The loit has a limited selection of fw17 items at about 50% off - picked up the dark grey new balloon pant. Hoping I got the right size - can’t believe I’m sizing down twice

Size down twice on the Balloons??

Size down twice on the Balloons??

Yeah, I tried them on a few months ago and remember being surprised that I liked the fit of the S over M and L was just too much. Only worried that they will be tight in the waist - can’t remember how the felt. Anyone know how the waist secures? Is it elasticated with draw string or just draw string??

Tbh, I prefer how they styled the balloon pant for the fwk look book more than for the men. The short cropped lose fit rather than the super billowy and stacked at the ankles look. I’m pretty much going for the look of the woman in the fwk look book!

Thanks dude. Yeah I'm only concerned about how much stretch there is at the waist. I'm also not a big fan of the big pools at the ankles. I'm shorter so if I get them I'm gonna get them hemmed to look like that (no break) kinda like the elastic cuff ones from last year. Still kicking myself for not jumping on those.

What size waist do you usually go for? L/34? That's where I'm at.

Same - usually a 34. Often a M in the non numbered styles. So a bit of doubt about the S but they are designed to be súper loose

I'm going to give size M a try. Hopefully these work out and you can expect a fit after they get hemmed. Thanks BP!

That's what I thought too! I emailed them and I'm still waiting on a response! Thanks! Wonder if there are other stores that have them too..? Hmm.

How long did it take Manifesto to respond?

Hmmmm....Norwegian pants with those massive pockets.....hmmmmmm....those loud colours.....hmmmmmm. Why is the pocket in the ground pants sewn into the leg? Or is that a fault in the pair I tried on just now?

We need a SS 2018 thread soon to tell me what I think about these developments.

Some early samples: https://www.oipolloi.com/collections/engineered-garments

NICE light denim work shirt.
