This must be the season I finally buy a Bedford (or two), I just don't know which.

Grey stripe, grey herringbone or tan cord?

^ I've been eyeing that corduroy Bedford and the matching pants, plus the olive Bedford (though I should probably be looking for wool since I have a couple in cotton already). Is there a black wool Bedford this season? Only noticed gray and dark navy.

Also am I missing something or are there not many options for warmer winter coats?

Made my annual track to Nepenthes today and picked up the corduroy Type 6 jeans to match my Baker. Preferred the fit over the fatigues. I like the black dobby Bedford but already have too many. Also picked up the railroad striped banded collar shirt.

I think most of the heavy coats are yet to drop.

Hi

I've just tried on the Pathfinder jacket in size S in dark navy nyco ripstop but need to return it. It would be absolutely what I've been looking for but unfortunately for me the armpits are cut so high and tight that it's not comfortable to wear.

I wonder if other jackets like the TF or Coverall have similarly cut armpits or would they be more generous in that area?

Many thanks.

Alright so how do bedfords fit this season? I've never owned one, in fact the only EG I have are pants and hats and scarves... and one long shirt (XL).

I definitely want one of the wool ones first, I'm also curious if anybody knows/remembers how that jacquard floral baker jacket from a few seasons ago fits? Maybe it was just this summer?

I think they fit like most EG jackets, on the small side. The fit does change btw fabrics though

I find this season like last to be cut slightly roomier. Designed for layering perhaps but true to size.

@OccultaVexillum - are you asking about the navy floral jacquard? If so it fits similar to most other baker jackets, which is s little slimmer than the bedfords. I think you could take your normal size in other EG jackets for that particular baker and be fine.

@Cotton Dockers
I think so, this one (on sale): http://www.canvasmalibu.com/collections/brands/products/engineered-garments-baker-jacket-floral-jacquard-navy

I guess I'll skip that one and go for one of the new season wool ones

Also worth noting if you'd still want that one that the bakers run a little longer and a little slimmer than a bedford. Also generally if something is half or fully lined it'll be slimmer than something unlined as from my experience everything is cut the same, then the lining added.

I think @Cotton Dockers has that jacket and might be able to help more with specifics on the fit for this season?

@rusticchasm & @lifeinabox Thanks guys, I have zero experience with EG jackets but looking through ebay and grailed a lot of people say they run slim ("Tagged XL but fits slim or regular Large" etc), so I just wanted to make sure.
i would get measurements
