Tropical wool is super light and much better for spring/summer. It almost feels like linen.

@JilSlander right on, fellas. I'd heard them both described as very tight weaves. I've got a tw andover/cinch pant setup but wasn't sure how the winter worsted felt. cheers!

I'm no expert, but can tell you a few things based on personal experience:
    • Tropical Wool is perfect for spring summer weather, is very lightweight and breathable. I would not recommend wearing for the colder months without a couple of thick extra layers.
    • Worsted Wool is a slightly thicker fabric when compared with Tropical Wool and is much more ideal for autumn an early winter. It does feel lightweight and thin but is substantial in terms of weight and thickness. Much thinner when compared with Serge Wool. Definitely the lightest of the FW fabrics I have handled.

I tried on the Worsted Wool in Cinch Pants this season, but the cut is far too tight/tapered (much to my disappointment) and I cannot physically lift my legs since they were just too tight around the calves. I also tried in the Chino Twill version and experienced the same issue. First time ever (in over 5 years of wearing EG) where I could not fit in a pair of Cinch Pants!!!

Glad from a selfish perspective, as slimmer is better for me, but that sucks man. Was it not possible to go a size up?

Arknets.jp got two exclusive bedford jackets in stock in celebration of their 20th anniversary: http://www.arknets.co.jp/ext/feature/16aw_eg_20th/index.html

p.s. btw, are there any prospects on AW16 pants: fabrics and colors? I'm into 11w corduroy this season, but so far I've seen only fatigue & prospect pants and type 6 jeans.

    i think we're out of luck this season...if it's 11w b1ps you're after, last season was it - maybe next year :-(

I considered tailoring to widen the leg width, because the top block in a 32 is quite roomy still, but then decided against the additional cost altogether.

Cinch Pant in Dark Navy from Notre. Quite a tight fit!

Got a Baker in khaki corduroy coming my way and want to some matching pants. Do the cinch pants (or any other cut) come in corduroy or just fatigues?

Believe there is a type 6 jean in that fabric as well, though I am not sure they have turned up anywhere yet. Been holding out for a pair those myself!
