22" on the Large, 23" on the XL. pretty much no taper towards the bottom. Square at the hem too; this is one of those EG pieces that could probably worn as either a shirt or a shirt jacket.

Super - Thank you. Measurements indicate that they fit just a tad small. XL it is.

I like Gentry's selections for this season, particularly the brushed herringbone fatigues (which are now on their way to me :slayer:). Hopefully the cut works out for me. Also, like someone else said, the fact that they model the clothes and provide measurements up front is such a nice bonus.

I just recently started paying some more attention to the E1 pants. Wasn't sure at first, but now that I'm starting to see some pics with them being modeled, I might give them a shot.

Agreed. I've been getting more interested lately in a slightly more "voluminous" top block with tapered leg and these are in that category. I'm not sold on the cord versions, but like you, I think they look great in the wool (homespun especially) versions. Maybe a sale season pick up for me if still available.

Nice. That's a really nice looking piece, the lining is a great touch as well. Very tempting indeed.

Agreed. I have last season's melton wool version in navy with floral lining and have used it both ways, more as shirt jacket layered over a thin long sleeve tee. Cool piece.

Anyone know if there is a jacket to match the green (olive) wool cinch pants? I've been looking around but haven't been able to find any clues as to its existence. Green suit might be a bit... odd, but that fabric is just awesome.

I was wondering the same thing. Nepenthes has the skinny:

Andover dark olive worsted wool flannel
    Black Blue EG
    Bureau
    Del Store
    Garbstore
    Jack Straw
    Mohawk General Store
    Nepenthes NY
    Peggs & Sons
    Trunk Clothiers

Cinch Vest dark olive worsted wool flannel
    Bureau
    Del Store
    Jack Straw
    Nepenthes NY
    Peggs & Sons

If you're referring to the dark olive flannel, then it will probably be the Andover jacket, as it is most often paired with the cinch pant.

Thanks @srmerritt & @Knight . Love my other Cinch pant/Andover suit... might have to take the plunge on this one if I can find the pants in the right size (emailed Nepenthes, Jack Straw already sold my size [IMG]).

sry for the random question but I really like looking at the FW13 FWK model, has she done anything else? Also, shaw knit.

got my orange brown shawl knit in. it's pretty awesome. Soft and thick, very very nice. Unfortunately it is a bit scratchy, seems more so than my Inverallan. Hopefully that goes away. Got a Needles lookbook and an EG14 lookbook. No FWK, and I really wanted the FWK one :(

Bummer. I would assume that means the navy and dark green are both like that, too, since tonio mentioned the herringbone was like that. The thing looks so cozy, but the appeal diminishes a lot for me if it's not nearly as comfortable as it looks.
