Dude that jacket is hard as hell, what's the cost?

The price in Japan is something close to $400. I would guess that the stateside price (from past comparisons) would be about $360, depending on the location of the store (NYC and SF are generally more expensive than Boston, for example).

Well, Barney's carries Engineered Garments, so the Wilshire shop might be a good place to start.

Gary has these pieces, neither of which were in the lookbook, that I could see, a Fireman's jacket and a shawl fleece sweater/sweatshirt thing. I am broke, but if anyone wants to send me either in a medium, I'm not going to say no.

    Hey guys,

wondering what your opinions are on this? I was thinking of picking it up in brown, but was wondering if you think will it be a good investment, meaning will this be something that would still be worn several years down the line?

i bought it and it's nice put i just couldn't justify the price so i'll be returning it. it's made out of a relatively thick corduroy, half-lined in the body, fully-lined in the sleeves. it is definitely cut short. three button (if you don't count the little flap that gets buttoned in the middle). there's a surprisingly low gorge unless you button the top button. 5 outside pockets one buttoned interior pocket. it runs fairly true to size. i'm 5' 10", 185lb and the M fit great even with two layers (t-shirt and polo is what i tried) underneath.

my reference jacket was a classic brown cord blazer that i tried at a PRL outlet but didn't buy because it was one size too small. i'd rather have that blazer in the correct size then the EG cord jacket.

let me know if you've got any other questions.

    Greetings All,

Today we recieved the Fireman Coat in navy blue, 50% cotton 50% nylon, Monty Duffle in black Melton Wool and a Plaid Flannel Work Shirt. I think that will be it but I am still awaiting our reorder of the quick release belt.

    Best Regards,

    Gary

Got the okay from Gary to post pics of his flannel work shirts.
The top pic is of the one he just received (in all sizes i believe) and the bottom is of his last medium from previous shipments. He may have others in larger sizes.

I've yet to see the second shirt in person, but the second one is has extremely deep and vibrant colors. The texture is amazing too, and the fisherman's pocket's give it a bit of a kick. He has it under a muted black wool Engineer jacket right now, and it looks spectacular.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Gary has 2 left (or did) in black bedford cord. I'm not sure about sizes though. Super nice. Too bad I look like a giraffe wearing aviator jackets.
