That sounds great, the more (clothing) the merrier.. Do you know what they are called, or in what area/district they're in? Thanks!

Thank you! I'll check it out.

EG is still pretty much my favorite brand, i've had a few issues with workshirt buttons coming off, seems worse on their winter plaids as never had problems with chambray's.
I think the sizing is my main issue, especially on their blazer style jackets wide shoulders narrow chest & long arms...very strange & whereas i'm quite happy to sew a button on now & again, I'm not happy paying £400 & passing it onto a professional tailor for alterations.
Having followed the brand pretty much from the start i tend to follow the more "staple" repeat items. A lot of the new designs are either pretty awful or similar to a staple piece with an extra pocket and more$'s for the pleasure of having a pocket thats not needed.
Looking forward to F/W13/14 as this s/s13's been poor.

I would also love to get some insight into second hand stores in NYC that people have seen EG or Post at.

On the Alden front, I would probably suggest Leffot or Epaulet as they often have some more unique make-ups (although I think some places have wider selection of Alden overall, especially in comparison to Epaulet as it is not solely focused on shoes).

Food-wise, I am a huge fan of Mission Chinese (spicy Sichuan, but a bit more fusion-y or less traditional than most Sichuan places). It is also right by Epaulet Manhattan. PM if interested in other food suggestions (however, others may be better as I do not live there, but I go a lot and spend a decent amount of time trying to dig up good eating establishments).

i'd definitely stop into Hickoree's. They carry an interesting curation compared to everyone else on the list. I'd also go to Barney's NY for sheer spectacle.

The new LDT jacket is an interesting combination of Andover and Truman. Patch pockets with flaps, ticket pocket and the double breast pocket.

Yes! Their bringing back the bike pouch. My natural canvas one is pretty rough. I hope it comes in more "everyday" fabric as well.

Not totally sure how I feel about the throat notch (what's the term for this?) but yep -- starting to save up anyways. I love the charcoal windowpane
