I really would say try the workaday fatigues, I know that Drinkwaters stocks those. He's also stocking the main line fatigues in olive reversed sateen. My workadays are hands down my favorite EG pants, just because the fit is so relaxed and comfortable without being sloppy looking. I mean, there's a reason Daiki wears them in 70% of the photos he's in. Here's some inspiration:

why are you concerned about my critique of a shirt of a man who probably doesn't even visit this forum so chances are he will continue to dress how he pleases? people critique me in real life all time but you know what i still l dress how i please. meaning no harm no foul maybe someone just trying to start a online dispute but everyone has a opinion so take it however you want.

I have purchased current season fatigues and cinch back trousers in reversed sateen, both in size 32. Both are very different in terms of shape and feel. Choice will be dictated by the fit you are looking for. The fabric itself is obviously heavier than SS13 reversed sateen (and not as shiny and noisy), yet the weave lends itself to a fair degree of "stretch" and is quite soft on the touch.

Cinch back trousers, are a slim fit through and through. I am of lean build with slim legs and these pants hug my legs. I have previous seasons versions and the cinch back trousers have been getting slimmer and slimmer every season. Fortunately this seasons fabric has plenty of stretch and give with movement. I reckon the pants should ease up (particularly below the knees) with further wear and eventually fall into a great shape around the legs (much like a good pair of raw denim).

Fatigues are quite different. Loose and comfortable all round, with a straight leg cut. I have been wearing with a pin roll because they wear nicely just below the waist line and sit lower. There is an option to insert your own drawstring around the leg opening as reinforced holes are already added. As mentioned previously, no drawstring around the waist, not that they're needed since there are side cinch button and tab fastener. The hidden zip pocket, in front of the left side pocket with access near the zip fly, is a useful detail added this year as the main pockets are large enough for small change to fall out when sitting down.

    Hope the info helps!

Interesting, not familiar with him, thanks for the info Gary. Must just be the way he's standing then...I guess it doesn't look small in the shoulders at all on a closer look. If this is the guy in charge of sourcing all the fabric then I am a fan of his, he definitely finds some interesting stuff. That actually ties into something I was thinking about recently when going through my chambray workshirts....I wonder how hard it is for them to keep finding new and different chambray fabrics to use? Each season the fabric is different. Unlike a lot of brands who produce their staple items in the same way each time EG always mixes it up a little in fabric and fit. I like that...gives me a reason to keep adding more to the collection!

Thanks for rubbing it in!!! I finally tracked down a green one last year but have still had no luck in finding a red one...and I want one so bad! I hold out hope that they'll eventually make another.

Nepenthes are your best bet for availability on almost everything. I'd start there. They can also guide which stockists ordered what -- to make life easier.

For olive rev sateen pant types I'd go fatigues -- mainline for a loose modern fit or workaday for a real wide, classic fit. Both are great get out of jail cards for looking good.

Just to mix things up try the Desert pant which has great details. And if you're after dress appeal - the Mill pant and cinch pants. If you're after slim the matt pant is as slim as it gets.

Knight you requested images of the classic shirt, sorry for the delay.

I think I might part with it to size up or get something else if medium would be too big. It's a bit short for my liking, I knew it when I tried it on but found out later it doesnt really work for me.
So if anyone would be interested i might sell it or trade for something else EG.
