I dont see people wearing these all that often(which I dont mind) I've been wearing them since I was a kid and love em. You cant go wrong with a pair of Chippewa's

that guy has a ton of great stuff on his site. did he just wear the hell out of them or something? I just look at newer pairs and don't see them metamorphosizing into anything remotely similar.

Nothing but love for my Frye Brando engineer boots. Supremely comfortable after they're broken in and the Tobacco color is just the right shade of brown. From what I understand, Tom Waits always wears engineer boots, too.

Those are awesome. I bought a pair of the Chippewa for LL Bean Kahtadin Engineer boots and love em. Those things are just so worn it's marvelous.

I got these recently. This past Sunday I was at my sisters place watching my two nieces, aged 3 and 5, and asked them "Do you girls like my new boots?" while lifting up my pants leg so they could see all the buckles. They nodded yes.
