    Hi,
I wanted to buy a red tie but I'm having a hard time picking one. The like the one below but it has Emporio Armani all over it, cause of that I'm not sure if I should buy it. I wanted to get a second opinion on that. What do you guys think? Is it worth buying that tie or should I get another one?
    Thanks alot.

Anything with all that branding on it should not be purchased.

A brand name splashed all over a tie can look really tacky in my opinion. The striped one looks decent enough.

Are you a sales rep for EA or are you a Chinese Alpha Male? Then yes, otherwise no.

Thanks for all your opinions, its greatly appreciated. Only if they didn't write the brand name all over it, I liked the stripes though. Thanks again.

what the fuck is happening to this place? i was proud to be a lurker, but when i came to SF, whenever it was, it was elitist as fuck. noone mentioned shit like hugo boss or ea, cause why would anyone want to? what next? a pierre cardin tie megapost? no more, please! no more! this talk of supermarket brand armani shoots down the value of every person here.

Why would you want to have a tie with the brand all over it? It's ugly.

Sorry, I have to by a tie and I really have no idea what I'm doing. If someone could suggest me which brand ties I should get, that would be great.

I think Armani is a disgrace for making all this branded diffusion shit. Giorgio or whomever runs the company these days has devalued their brand to popularise themselves with the unwashed masses. Paul Smith isn't really any better in this respect either. Supermarket Armani indeed....see also Pierre Cardin, YSL, Dior. Probably why Armani and similar have all these diffusion brands though is money. They can make a lot more profit selling masses of the high markup 'Made in China' branded Emporio stuff than they can selling the niche haute couture 'Made in Italy' garments.
