I wear a lot of Diesel, and if I had the money, I'd be wearing Diors. Depending on your price range, that may not be an option. I would say that if you're looking for something that would work with a blazer, look for a well-fitted dark wash bootcut or straight leg jean, depending on the look you're going for. These are versatile and also work with sneakers. Brands to look at include Earnest Sewn, Joe's Jeans, Diesels (on sale or eBay), and possibly Sevens or CoH in that price range. Another popular option to go with is raw denim. Depending on the brand you get, the price can vary quite a bit. I would say that a great brand by value is the Canadian company Naked & Famous. By the way, this is in the wrong forum.

I thought emerald rice was pretty much the same thing as 7forallmandkind, and it seems like quite a few people around here recommends 7forallmandkind, ie: the poster above

@dopamine: thanks for your tips on darker wash jeans

I wouldn't necessarily recommend 7FAM, as a lot of people find them too "trendy," but they do make a decent stretch-denim product. Keep in mind that by darker wash jeans, I mean a clean wash with minimal distressing. Fading is ok, but holes, rips, and patches in the wash are not appropriate for loafers and a blazer (unless you want to look like a douche). Honestly, I think Diesel is by far the best value for money, as the construction of their jeans are rock solid and the denim is high quality.
