how are those still floating around

No idea. This SOF wasn't even here until a few years ago and it's already shutting it's doors. Stuff is like 95% off so I decided to peak in and see if anything looked good. It was a total mess.

There were a few smallish NWT Eidos pieces from a few years back, a random Isaia Tuxedo with pants missing, a somehow full rack of Michael Bastion blazers, and random high end knitwear going for pennies but all flawed in some way.

Walked out without anything but it was funny to see Eidos pieces +5 years old that still had tags attached.

Re-upping this last sweater before I post it on Grailed or the Bay. Anyone interested?

Hi guys, here is the cotton sweater. Size L. Worn half a dozen times. Always folded, on a hanger simple for photos. Pulling this out actually caused me to reconsider selling it, it’s pretty special. DM me if you are interested

I have an henley from Eidos that I love but the buttons keep popping open. I swear I have not gained that much weight. I think it's because the fabric is pretty lightweight and the buttons pretty small.

What can I do about it? Close the button holes a little bit? Change the buttons altogether?

I’m not sure you all realize just how much Eidos was purchased by majors that no one bought.

Pretty sure I have this shirt and had the same exact issue. I just had the wider button holes closed up a bit to accommodate the smaller buttons. No issues since.

I'm looking for a new home for this jacket that Mitchell is wearing so well in a Tenero cut, tagged 52 but fits much more like a 50:

View attachment 1688385

Unlined, sleeves are non-functional for easy alterations. Rough measurements:

Shoulders: 18.5 inches
P2P: 21.25 inches
Length: 29 inches
Sleeves: 23.25 inches (about 2.5 inches of material available for lengthening)

Looking for $325 shipped in the USA. PM me if you're interested.
I might be tempted - can you remember what the difference is between the Tenero and Tipo cuts (@mossrockss ?)

Shoulder padding, back length, canvas layers—all more in the Tipo than Tenero. Otherwise similar in lapel width, fit, etc. Tenero was my favorite as a sportcoat/odd jacket when it was cut correctly.

While eidos is now long gone, I just want to tell folks that this brand totally helped me figure out what tailoring I like and I don't like. You can read all you like, but until you get first hand experience, it's hard to figure out the nitty gritty.

With all the production mishaps, Italian management snafus, etc., I still was able to learn how I like my trousers, how I like my lapels, shoulders etc.

Eidos was a really cool crash course.

I know Antonio was bummed as to how it all turned out but I was happy to be along for the ride. I know I learned a lot.

All that Moss said. I usually sized up in the Teneros because I felt they fit better with a bit more room, given their relative lack of structure.

The Eidos jacket shoulders upper sleeves hardly worked for me. I think I had two specific jackets in the Balthazar model from Bloomingdale’s that worked, but other Balthazars and definitely the Tenero ALWAYS had that shoulder “divot” on the upper sleeve, which drove me crazy because I had to return or sell those jackets. But the two I did keep were glorious and wore the hell out of them. On one, a two inch chunk of the fabric tore off the elbow prob while I was traveling, so pretty much had to scrap that jacket. Would have cost me $150 to repair it I was told. Just gave me an excuse to get a new custom jacket to replace it.
