i don’t think anyone outside of this thread wants eidos period.

The tailoring/shirts here are from This is Rome and Faces of Firenze which means it’s original Michelangelo production for tailoring and the shirts were made at Stile Napoli. Both were good (shirts better than tailoring).
Anytime I see one of those shirts pop up in my size I buy it because they have sleeves long enough for me unlike most other Italian shirtmakers I've tried. Thanks for the insight on the Lupos, too!

This was one of the reasons all the retail partners said no one bought the shirts - “all your sleeves are too long.”

Well then it must warm your heart to have a small cult of maladjusted menthwear enthusiasts.

Your Eidos collections were fantastic. End of discussion. You’ll have this with you the rest of your life. Enthusiasts many years later are still talking about it!

Hey guys,

Does anyone own this shirt? How's the feel of it? Not sure I'm sold on the 'slub texture'-look, maybe it looks nice irl. Collar looks nice, though.

Other thoughts? :)

If someone here bought this and change their mind, lmk. I was not sure about the sizing, and it was final sale. But sort of still want my hands on the last collection.

That fabric was really, really good.

I actually owned this when it came out (picked up from Nordstrom I think). Didn't like how it started pilling and sold it. Regretted it ever since.
Super light weight fabric. Yet super soft

It's a size 54 btw. I had the seller check the little tag.

@everyday Thanks, I thought it was more like 50. I'd be fine with 48 or 50, but 54 would have been TOO large I think.
I know it wasn't the intended style at the time, but the Augusto wears so well oversized since it's basically an overshirt. I think people who (read: me) tried to make it work as a regular sport coat were never quite successful :p
