The styling on that jacket is nothing short of cringeworthy.

This shirt came in, it is great. Silk like cotton fabric, not transparent but light, collar needs to settle a bit, body shorter than expected but will be nicely paired with denim, should be no problems with Sal or Lorenzo higher rise pants, stoked that I found it in my size. The color is hard to describe for me but different than your standard white shirt. Now I have the indigo with this together. I think a photo of this shirt or similar was worn and posted in here before, got to look it up again. It was like an all white/cream outfit.

Ordered second time w/ the eBayer... This looks like the work shirt on Mr. Porter but in the white/cream, crossing my finger it works out.

That fabric is amazing. The color is stone. The shirts that season we’re produced substantially shorter than intended.

Despite Antonio making fun of it, I think this styling is actually pretty awesome View attachment 1007019

Today. (different Jacket, though. Special guest appearance from the awesome seersucker morgans .)

When did I make fun of it? I think its fine, although pushed sleeves with a collared shirt reminds me of Miami Vice. I think its a different story with a tee (even though maybe this was actually the move in Miami Vice).

I believe Newc was referring to this as cringeworthy:

Yeah, I was offering my post as a contrast to that one. And it's all good, Miami Vice look is cool with me. I meant it light-heartedly ;)

(And yes, Don Johnson wore tees and henleys)

I asked my tailor what he thought, he told me 46 was perfect in the shoulders, but required a ton of work through the body (cost me about 150ish?) - he said next time get the 44, they'd let it out through the center back and it'd be comparable for less work.

TLDR - ask your tailor to explain the work/the cost.

Now that I think about it, next time I suppose we should just trade.

Anyway, thanks for your input everyone. Hopefully I will get my size dialed in a little better as I purchase more items. Perhaps a diet is in order...

Haha - maybe not a bad thought. I can't even wear the suits though because of the drop from jacket to trousers. Big shoulders and a 32 waist mean I'm stuck forcing my tailor to perform surgery on all my sportcoats. Maybe I need to eat more...

This is a real longshot, but has anyone seen the green basketweave trousers other than as the Sal at NMWA? Those are sold out in my size but I like the fabric. If anyone has seen a dress trouser in that fabric, or even another green linen, I'd appreciate the heads up. Thanks!
