Ilaria has always worked with Eidos but there was a decision made while I was there to stop sending samples to personal stylists as we didn’t have enough samples and the focus was to be on Isaia for red carpet. That said, Ilaria has been friends with and a huge supporter of Simon since Spurr so it’s not surprising.

Took the day off and ran some errands in this season's black T (from Mr. Porter) today.

Thanks, I did hear that a while ago – really nice, although it’s more his backstory than the move from tailoring.

just scanned her instagram. the dominic cooper eidos still retains some of the eidos fabric DNA.

I also returned a cashmere silk tee to mr Porter UK. It dropped from 30 to 50% discount, so I returned the 30% in XL if anybody is watching and keen

Welp that's a wrap, was hoping to see what MM Eidos collection looked like but sad to hear that will not be happening. Have fun for the dudes that will be at sample sale.

Personally I'm hoping whatever doesn't get sold is picked up by a certain forum favourite affiliate vendor specialising in consignment.

So do you guys know how much it actually shrank in the waist and inseam? I also picked up a pair, great pants for summer. I have a size 32 that can use a nip in the waist and shorten the leg. I don't know if I'd want it down to a size 30 and be unwearable.

I have a 32R that was pretty big in the waist, probably close to 34". After a cold wash and low tumble it now measures around 32.25"

    Thanks @soaped

Just measured by 32 and it is 16.5" across... seems like mine may be the odd one. I think if I nip the waist 0.5-0.75" it'd be ideal.

My tag also says its 100% cotton and the fabric feels very nice after touching it again. Very smooth. But Antonio says its suppose to be cotton-linen blend.

The morgan from fall was an all cotton Japanese replica of the original “crammerton” khaki fabric used in US Army chinos. The co/li version was this spring’s slightly lighter option for warmer weather.

I’ve spoken on this a lot. This GQ piece is probably the most candid I’ve been about it. Simply put, I started deemphasizing more traditional tailoring because we weren’t selling it to customers and the best stores weren’t looking to buy it. This wasn’t unique to us, I don’t know of any other mid to top tier rtw tailoring brand that isn’t trying to pivot into sportswear due to dramatically reduced sales in suiting and sportcoats. Even at the specialty level like NMWA he business was about mto tailoring (which is unsustainable for the brand’s side as there’s an entire factory to support) and outerwear like the ragosta jacket.
