1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Antonio, you were spot on - the Barneys basketweave fabric for the S/S Trapunto jacket is unbelievable. I would wear this year-round, so lucky to have got my hands on this.

I was actually considering this already! If I'm a 40 in tailoring, would you suggest going with a 50 or sizing up to a 52, as I'd be wearing sweaters, etc with it..

I size up one from Formosa so sounds like you nailed it.

52 if you are thinking over tailoring but just sweaters I'd say the 50 will work.

I second this. Just wore it in Colorado at 60 degrees and 20 degrees over thanksgiving. Fantastic piece

Anyone know if the Kimber loafers are in US or UK sizing on the Bloomies website? Also, does the Field Jacket fit similar to NMWA FJ? Thank you.

I tried on a navy field jacket at Barney's in Chicago in that size. Thought it was awesome. I think it's online too.

Edit -- sorry, was behind and missed Nick's reply.

I'll try it on. Matera in small = 38 (48 EURO), which is sold out on Barneys. I didn't see many 36 (46) anywhere. Thanks Nick.

Eidos brothers. Tipo on my bro and NMWA on me. Other brands include Polo, Sid Mashburn, Propercloth, Brooks Brothers, Howard Young and Meermin.

    Awesome, @mossrockss
    Great photo of you two

@NickPollica will the Palmero coat from Marcus fit the same as the overcoat from NMWA from last year? (presumably yes, but I wanted to double check before pulling the trigger. Thanks in advance!

Gonna keep an eye on Bloomies, but if anybody ended up sizing wrong on their Aran cardigan and happen to have an L would appreciate a PM

It should (although the sleeves shouldn't be as narrow at the cuff).
Gentry still has one size L left.

I bought both L and XL and will likely return the L since I like a slouchier fit. Would be happy to pass it along to you if I'm right about the fit. (Will know for sure when they arrive next week.)

    Wait, you smell that?
@NickPollica Antonio, who makes Eidos' light wash denim jeans? Just curious how they might compare to say RRLs...

A bit apple to orange perhaps? Though what fit would the Eidos jeans be close to, guess somewhere between slim narrow and low staright

This could be a really dumb question, but Eidos jeans don't have any stretch to them, do they?
