1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Mine's folded. Feel like hanging would just stretch/lengthen it out.

Fold loosely, put in drawer. Agreed that with hanging there's always the possibility that it may stretch in a not-so-good manner. Although the cotton on the Ajrak does seem tougher than "standard sweater-grade" cotton, and may hold up well enough for hanging for short periods without damage...

Get the raw silk. The hemp was fine but I was never wild about the color—it is what I'd call greige. Also I felt the weight, which is fairly heavy, made it tough to wear in the hotter summer months, which is what a light colored SC seems best suited to in my opinion.

The very first season of suit we just ran the classic trouser then greg suggested thatbwe develop one with a raised rise (which I am totally on board for). Thats the only difference.

Mines been lying haphazardly at the foot of my bed. Too beautiful to be stored away. Adds some color to my room too. Goes with the DGAF attitude.

Knits and hangers should never mix.

    Agreed and I like that.

My first thought was to hook it under the Eidos tag on a hook in my bathroom for robe duty but didn't want to snap the thread.

I have a short dresser in my bedroom and I was thinking about laying it across that.

It looks like a leopard, sorta.....

not the sal trouser, right? so something in between the sal and the non-NMWA suit pant?

also would you ever sell that to other stockists? i feel like the demand has got to be there, it fits the styling of the jackets so well. they all have a slouchy luxe vibe, with a lower button stance, less conservative cuts/fabrics, etc.

i like greg but i am just too poor to afford eidos at retail (sorry!). one day though...

Nope. There is literally zero demand for this outside of NMWA. Not a single other store has requested it because our classic trouser model and Sal both move really well.

Yet, I have not encountered one customer of ours who tried both UAB and NMWA trousers, and did not vastly prefer the NMWA cut with the slightly higher rise. Every single person thinks the NMWA cut and rise are just right.

Sometimes, things are just in my head - but this is not one of those.

You are correct 100% but this is the pant version of the longer jacket argument. I can try to win arguments and end up losing accounts or I can just do tailoring the right way with NMWA and move on.

PS: Marcus is doing a great job with the tailoring as well.

PPS: You'll all be happy to know that Isaia decided yesterday that we will reintroduce MTM for spring. It will be extremely limited (Probably just NMWA and Martin Patrick).

How much flexibility will the new MTM program have? Any chance of altering sleeve rotation and armhole shape?

probably too late now, but I really though you should have launched with Barneys instead of Bloomingdale and Treno instead of Tipo.
