So I've received a few PMs and requests for frontal pics of the Navy casentino single breast coat from NMWA. Had some time this morning and made my girlfriend snap some before I headed out (to my tailor, to get the sleeves finished, actually). This is a bit more casual of an outfit than I'd usually wear with this coat but it shows the shape well. Excuse the poor lighting - we were going to take some pics outside but the heavy winds weren't cooperating.

Also worth noting I'm keeping it in the family by wearing my Eidos X Christian Kimber smoke suede Capa derbies! They've become my go-to casual shoes.

For reference I'm 5'11 and ~195 lbs with a 10" drop. I wear a 54R in Eidos suits and sportcoats and I went with the 52 coat because the body/waist in the 54 would've been a bit too baggy on me. Wearing a suit underneath this coat is maybe a pinch more snug than ideal, but overall I'm extremely happy with it and definitely happier than if I had gone with the 54.

This first pic is with the middle button (out of three) done. It's how I wear it most often.

Bottom button done only. I like wearing it like this when I wear a suit+tie as it lets you show a nice amount of both.

I'm curious to know if you found the sleeves on this Eidos overcoat to be extremely slim. I bought what I thought was the same model Eidos SB overcoat from Saks and went with my usual size 48. I have the NMWA casentino ulster coat in size 48 and it was fairly roomy but is the type of fit I wanted. The Saks SB overcoat is fine in the shoulder width and body but the sleeves are extremely slim and makes it a bit difficult to wear over sport coats. I'm wondering this is only the case with the Saks version or are other Eidos SB overcoats have the same slim sleeves.

Saks & Bloomingdales have same problem

Fantastic. The downside of living in Florida is not being able to wear coats much, if at all. I'd be proud to own that one.

Ironically I've been eyeballing those shoes on Kimbers website and want to order a pair. Maybe the dusty brown ones too.

However, were you hit with high import duties from Australia? Thanks!

Bloomingdales has some insane deals on some Eidos stuff for anyone looking for a new suit or some clothes.

Picked up the Puppytooth Tuxedo for ~$530+tax.

No alterations done yet, just rolled the pants inside so they weren't insanely stacked/baggy at the bottom...anyone have any experience in resolving the issue I have with my right shoulder? It seems to pucker in a bit like that the shoulder is slightly too big.

And on a related note...does anyone know where to get a bow tie in shantung [I'm fairly sure] silk? I have no immediate need for a tuxedo, but it seemed like the kind of thing that was hard to pass up.

Thanks. I love the NMWA cut. I'll post a fit pic tomorrow...it fits just as good as my other one.

How does the NMWA cut differ from their other cuts? More classic? Longer length?

Thanks so much!
