Our new Eidos tailored collection - suits, sport coats and overcoats - is now up online; and I think this is the best one yet

Some eye candy

So much great stuff here. The large-scale herringbone and DB corduroy suits look amazing, not to mention the field jackets discussed earlier.

Visited the Stockholm showroom last week to say hi to Marcus, look at the stuff (and drink some wine). Unfortunately I realized that I need to MTM, fortunately I can. The one suit on display was beautiful, and the fabrics I quickly browsed through looked awesome.

I'll have to save up and get a suit pretty soon.

Just a note...

My local store, Coachman Clothiers (Knoxville, TN), carries Eidos and Kimber. They have the belted cardigan, Lupo polos and a waffle knit polo (unsure of the name), two sportcoats and the overcoat in grey and green. They're also carrying the Kimber X loafers, Johdpur boots and a few of his sneakers.

They don't have a website but will take phone orders. Ask for Jeff, Bryce or Katie.

Looking for the places carrying the field jackets this season—besides NMWA. I like their two fabric choices but am interested in others as well.

Should have remembered...Coachman also has the Field Jacket in a brown donegal looking fabric.

Kimber has one on his site - unique to him. It is awesome.

Celebrating wearing tailoring for the first time in a while with a WAYWRN post today. Kimber collab personal orders showed up yesterday! Should be hitting stores soon.

Home indigo dyed DB jacket - Vintage
Navy/army exploded paisley sillk gauze handkerchief - Eidos
Navy lupo polo - Eidos
Stone washed chino - Eidos
Chocolate suede 'Crosshair' loafers - Christian Kimber X Eidos

Any advice on sizing the loafers? I'm usually a 9.5US in Vass, Carmina, etc

Edit: All good, Mr Kimber literally replied within a few minutes of me asking the question

Anyone know where I can pick up the maremmana hunting jacket. Am looking for the blue ideally...?
(I'm sure I could try and make the NMWA boiled wool brown work but sold out!)

Being more or less an Eidos homer, I was interested in the Kimber x Eidos collection when I learned of it. While I like many of the welted styles, I already own most of those styles in other brands, and really could not justify getting them. The sneakers are a different story. I thought the navy Aperture sneakers looked interesting, but the pictures on Bloomingdales looked a bit bloated at first glance. I decided to try them anyway and am glad I did. Christian Kimber's site suggested sizing down 1 size, so I ordered size 9 & 8.5 to try. I'm a pretty solid US9 on Brannock, and the 8.5 ended up being a good fit. I should get some good casual wear out of these as they are very comfortable and unique looking without going overboard IMHO.

A couple more bad lighting pics of new Eidos arrival. This time the field coat cardigan. I took a chance with size L (normally M in most Eidos items sized S-M-L) as that's what Haberdash had. I think it worked out pretty well.

So going off of that, for anyone else that has tried the "X" or crosshair loafers, I've heard most are sizing down a half size and find they fit (even according to Kimber I asked him this and he said half were sizing down because of the rounded last), though his site says true to size. I've heard of a few guys going true, which I recently got mine in my true 12US and found them a bit big and much heel slippage and still room left in the toe/wide part of the foot also. They fit well when not walking, but walking was a whole different issue haha.

So I'm going down .5 to see how they fit.

How is everyone else on the crosshair if you've tried them. True or half sized down?

Seems like a lot with these goodyear shoes coming from Spain, sizing down half is the common advice. Wonder if these shoes are all from the same factory. I'm suspecting Carmina-related, but only guessing.

you guy see the olive suede car coat? Now available at Scoop NYC. If available in store, will try to snag a pic. It's not on Scoop's site (yet?). Some nice exclusive pieces this season.
