Been wanting to try an Eidos Jacket but being
Shorter it's hard to know what will fit. Any of the jacket lengths ever come shorter than 29in (73.66cm)? Weird that I see a size 50 that is 28.75 inches on eBay but the 46 sizes that are new say 29in.

Depends on the cut. I tried on the Tipo model today at Bloomingdales and the 50R was around 30 inches in length (suit and sport coat).

Sport coat fit so much better, but the button stance is too high.

Any size 50s of smaller stature (or with T. rex arms), the blue Donegal coat NMWA had last fall is on eBay.
Sleeves are 23.5 inches with less than an inch to let out. (It's not my auction -- I inquired.)

Note that the lapels are 3.5'' on a 50R. The picture that I posted is what it looks like on a 50R. They're not as big as you think.

Great to hear NMWA is still offering suit separates! I bought the full brown raw silk suit from them this summer so it might be difficult to justify another full suit in such a similar colour, but damn this DB jacket is beautiful.
