Eidos only books (as far as I know, I can't state that as absolute fact, but I am 90+% confident). Which is definitely limiting, but I certainly understand it from a practical point of view and a brand management/look point of view. I would guess Antonio only wants the Eidos names on fabrics he has chosen and is good with.

So you're the one! Glad to see it went to a SF member. I was trying to convince my friend to snag it.

Which fit does Gentry carry? Why is that jacket so short?

I think the model is too tall. The measurements don't seem THAT shrunken

Nope. This sweater, which was a very specific reference to set of windows in Florence, was the jumping off point of the design process for the Faces of Firenze collection. In the spirit of trying to keep things special and unique, I have no plan to reissue the vast majority of our sportswear offering each season.

We only offer fabrics that we own, as opposed to buying from someone like Ariston or Cacciopoli who jacks up the price of open market goods (although Cacciopoli does run a fair amount of their own fabrics with LP). We do this in order to make our product, the best value possible.

what's live now is everything that hasn't already sold out (which is a fair amount). I'm so glad they finally did this. The shawl deck jacket is another one of those "one and done" pieces that we made in a natural indigo dyed heavy cotton canvas From Japan exclusively for Gentry. It was inspired by Pablo Picasso's favorite piece of outerwear, which was cut from, I believe, a very similar cloth (french blue cotton canvas workman's cloth). The pics on Gentry's site don't do it justice. If the 48 is still there on Monday I am grabbing it myself.

Anyone know how the white linen field coat works with darker complexions? Can't picture it for some reason. Intrigued because I don't think anyone else has carried this.

Its not white - its a stone cotton linen and it was an exclusive for Gentry. In general, I would argue that lighter things tend to work better with darker complexions.

how is the sizing on the tenero? are these true to size? i usually fit in most typical size 38/48 (or MD) with a chest measurement just shy of 39".

Those look nice on you, @clee1982. Seeing you try on so many size 36 coats makes me a little envious as I have no local options to attempt a fit in that size right now.

You don't happen to be a Ghost in the Shell fan, are you?

Indeed. I did a double take upon seeing the Laughing Man.

Good taste in clothes, and anime!
