Can anyone tell me the measurements for a Lupo long sleeve in XXL? Trying to work out sizing before I buy online. Thanks in advance.

It's a bit hilarious how often I find myself going through the mental decision making process asking myself "Do I really need another navy polo shirt?"

The answer in the most recent incident was a resounding yes—picked up this long-sleeve Lupo from AK Rikks in Grand Rapids last week (which they shipped to me; my buddy @amckeague gave me the info for one of their personal shoppers).

Definitely worth it for this. Such a great piece.

Seems interesting for sure. When it is one button is it a functional one button?

    Thanks!

A while back I kind of decided that a one button cuff just looks so dang clean so I started doing it on new purchases (left the buttons on most of the stuff I already had). The Eidos jackets I've bought coming with unfinished sleeves made it easier since I'm too cheap to pay someone to sew buttons on for me [IMG]

A Corneliani tweed casual jacket I acquired via another member on SF came with a single button sleeve that's functional. I was ecstatic haha.

It for sure is a common Neapolitan thing as Antonio said. I love it also myself. Would love to have it on future jacket purchases. It is clean indeed.

One-button cuffs, particularly on odd jackets, was a popular style in the 1960s and early 1970s, but then seemed to fade away and three- and four-button cuffs became much more common.

I did, however, see a Gianni Versace suit with a one-button cuff about ten years back, so I suppose that some fashion designers liked to use it as a point of difference.

This is something that never left su misura tailoring in Naples - If anything its an anti-fashion thing.

@NickPollica Can you provide any details about this suit? Ciro DB? Sal Pant?

(I think these pants are the same suit?)

Thought some of you might like to know that a preview of our upcoming fall campaign shoot is live on eidosnapoli.com now.

Thanks for the detailed reply, Antonio. I wish my Nonno had passed something along as cool. Can you share the design, sketch, or prototype? Sounds really interesting given that pleats have been getting a bad rap as a sign of mass produced, ill-fitting pants. Does your design process usually start with vintage pieces?

Guys I bought another Eidos jacket…

From ak rikks. Stay tuned for pics later. It's a Tenero version of the hemp wool (same fabric as the NMWA model).

I'll look super awesome in Italy when my wife and I are there in Sept/Oct…

but we'll be sleeping on the streets and eating scraps!
