Does anyone know how much wider the shoulders are on the 42 linen field jacket than on the 40? Bloomies only had a 40 left, so that's what I got, but I could go with a 42 I think

@FLW Martin Patrick 3 in Minneapolis has the hemp hopsack jacket here. It looks like a Tipo as well.

Anyone have rear collar heights for the spread or cutaway shirts? 2 inches?

Also looking at this guy at Bloomies:

Have we discussed this jacket before?

Looks like the Tenero cut, correct? Did we determine this is the same fabric as NMWA's single breasted version?

Thanks in advance if your have seen this one IRL.

I got that jacket via Marc Etlin a few weeks ago. The tag indicates Tipo cut and 100% silk fabric. As best as I could tell, it's the same fabric as the NMWA single breasted version.

Thanks! Damn, I always get Tipo and Tenero mixed up. Pretty cool that it is 100% silk, though.

I'm wearing the Eidos/NMWA tuxedo tonight for a relative's black-tie wedding. To me, the tuxedo straddles the line between traditional and contemporary perfectly. It's classic enough not to look dated in a few years, but is sufficiently different that you're unlikely ever to encounter a similar tuxedo.

I read the first page and someone stated this company is comparable to Isaia. Eidos suits are in the $1500 range. I can find Isaia suits in the $1000 range. Do Eidos suits go on sale? Any place in the US (So Cal) that sells them?

    I couldn't go through all 177 pages.

Yes, find their list of retailers and look at their websites.

I have a 50IT Eidos sportcoat in the Tenero cut, which I think (but don't know for sure) is also the cut for that suit. I find the shoulder width (18" point-to-point) to be excellent, but I could use another inch in the chest (~42.1" around). Regardless, it's definitely my nicest jacket.

I have 19'' shoulders, but am only 5'9''. I like jackets with a 45'' chest. Perhaps a 42R (52R) would be good? Problem is that this may be way too long. How long is your jacket (bottom of collar to bottom of jacket).

Full canvas I'm assuming? Isaia wouldn't do half canvas is my thought.

Yes, it'll be fully canvassed. My 50IT sportcoat is about 29.5" from bottom-of-collar to the bottom-of-the-jacket. I think a 52IT has a ~44" chest measurement and ~19" shoulders measured on a curve, so it could fit you. (I'm going by measurements on No Man Walks Alone.)
