Sorry if I was unclear - the jacket is incredibly short on him. It may be perfectly proportioned on its own - but I honestly don't think I've ever seen the bottom button of a jacket line up with the navel/natural waist. If the model is 6'5" and wearing a 38, then it all makes sense... it just not the right size for him. Still makes for a funny picture.

That fabric and make-up with the chestnut corozo buttons are lovely btw

It's so short he wouldn't be able to tuck it in....

I emailed CSC for measurements on a 42 for that same jacket and on me, it would be .5" too long, lol.
Yeah, 6'5" is way too tall to be modeling that jacket.

Received my Raw Silk Tenero from Carson's a couple of days ago. I thought everything was fine until I saw the shoulder? What do you guys think? Size up? (This is a 50, my normal size)

    right here, right now
I think the shoulder looks good. I would only consider sizing up if for some reason it feels uncomfortable.

Can't really tell if there is a shoulder issue or you're twisting your upper body. Personally I would try size up, if shoulder is still an issue try another fit/brand

Nice kop! I thought they only carried the Nero cut? Also, I believe theirs is one of the few flap pocket versions with smoke buttons.

Thanks guys. I leaning more and more towards keeping it. The collar, chest and sleeve length are what I need. I feel like going up the 52 would throw these off. I think most of my perceived issues come from this being my first full canvased soft shoulder sport coat.

So I bought the brown pants to complete the suit from NMWA.

I'm embarrassed to say, however, I'm not exactly sure how to wear them. Haven't decided if I want to keep them for sure, in other words. They don't exactly work with my suede loafers which are my go to casual shoes. My dub monks work, but as of now those are really my only shoes that I feel work with them.

Suggestions for fits to put together with this?

I would think burgundy shoes would work if you have them. In my phone the pants look darker than the jacket but their the same color, correct. Fits wonderfully!

I have the same issue with many of my suit jackets/SCs. I have a dropped right shoulder due to playing sports (tennis as a kid, rock climbing as an adult). I have accepted that the right shoulder of my jackets will be imperfect unless I go bespoke.

I actually passed on a brown Eidos suit on sale because of this exact dilemma.

I agree with burgundy and would also suggest cognac or any other not-quite-tan light browns. This is the inverse of the "Northern Lights" issue, so some people will surely take issue but I think it will look great.

There is also navy and loden green, if you want to go that route...

@mossrockss I think that screams for a suede shoe or burgundy. If you wanted to do a medium to light brown calf that might be nice as well.
I've also seen and am not a huge fan of black with it.

The suit looks great. Don't overthink this. Brown, burgundy, suede, black - it all works. You're better dressed than 99.9% of men in the world.
