G - please post fit pics of the double breasted when you wear it. I had that at the register and changed my mind at the last second. Just wasn't sure how I would wear it. Absolutely beautiful piece. The navy Donegal is also a beautiful sc - I went with a different one from bloomingdale's and sort of regret the decision. Cant go wrong with it.

Why are you debating it? It's a great jacket.

Good decision to go heavier. What's the expected price of this version? Are all your outerwear fully canvassed as well?

The description of the sleeves situation wasn't meant as a criticism, per se. Standard RTW sizing rarely fits me in the sleeves and my tailor handled it quite well (added 1/2" fabric to the 25.5" sleeve).

People react differently to cold. I can wear an unlined 500g wool coat with a sweater or jacket down to -20 C. That said, I'm happy you are giving Eidos coats heavy lining for AW15. I could always use a stylish coat for those days below -20.

Will NMWA carry the improved Ulster coat? I missed this year's.

Thanks @clee1982. It was just a pair of pants I had on after coming from work. It was not intentional.

    Gyasih that fit is nuts.

N2pua if only a 48! That is such an awesome fabric but the green would have been even better! Good luck.

Tweedy ..... if only you knew how much i hate to have to sell it.

My tailor and i labored for a half hour on how to make the shoulders work for me (needed to size up for the chest), but he was so floored at the attention to detail in construction, that he didn't want to risk it.

    Fabric is also incredible.

Beyond frustrating. I genuinely hope this sport coat goes to someone who can appreciate what they're getting.
