Watches For The Poors
We talk about our high-end, mortgage-payment filled watch thread (I think it's literally also featured on the front page right now), but what about our less wealthy friends? What can they afford? Don't fret, young graduate student lusting after what he can't have - we have a watch thread just for you! Because cost and aesthetic sensibility (or aesthetic value) are not mutually exclusive, this thread is a wonderful resource of great looking timepieces that won't shell your bank account. And it's more than just Seikos on NATO straps!
Shell Cordovan Wallets
A few years ago StyleForum was swept by what seemed to be a shell cordovan tidal wave: we've always had people who are big fans of shell cordovan footwear, but all of a sudden everyone was lusting after shell cordovan bags, wallets, jackets and watchstraps. This thread is a product of those halcyon days, but damn if some of these wallets don't look awesome. And as a bonus (and unlike exotics), they don't require selling your soul to some random overseas 'artisan' who pockets your money and sends you nothing for six years.
Filson Bags
Filson bags might be more "popular" than ever today (hell, they had a collaboration with Urban Outfitters which was surprisingly awesome), but without a doubt there is something special about an accessory that is at home in both an office and out in the field, holding your shotgun shells and bird carcasses as you hunt with your friends. If you don't have a Filson bag at this point, then what the hell is wrong with you?
