Rare to see these models on Ebay, let alone all at the same time: EG Oundle (unusual tan color - Similar to the Stowe but with subtle differences) EG Stowe with a scratch (beautiful pair) Lobb Jermyn II (seller has no feedback though)

The light LIGHT tan on the Oundle is intriguing; something I would buy but rarely wear, I'm afraid. Wrong size, in any event. Absolutely beautiful tho... if it was my size, I would go for it. Â

The stowe doesn't match up to the Jermyn II's one piece construction. It is one model of shoe in which Lobb surpasses EG.

That is the truth. Combine Jermyn II's pattern and beveled bootmaker waist with an EG last and EG finishing, and you'd have a heck of a shoe.

So what are all the smooth leathers that EG has? Here's what I can come up with:

black
dark oak
chestnut
Edwardian
bauxite (what does this look like?)
burgundy
burnt pine
acorn
maple

Anything else?

The bauxite is a bit more reddish than the chestnut. Plus they have some sort of olive-y green colour, other shades of brown etc.

Jcusey, there's a picture of a shoe in "Bauxite" in the current EG catalog. I was surprised to see it in there, as I'd never heard of it as a color option.

In the London shop, Edward Green will show you samples of green and petrol-blue leather, if that is what you desire. I must say, I was a bit shocked about the blue leather. (Lattanzi, yes...but EG? It's like some dowager duchess going punk.)

Apart from that, as the final color and finish is applied to the completed shoe, they probably can match the color to a sample you specify. Have you received your special order "Stowe" already? Otherwise you still have time and you can get the shoes matched to your favorite socks.

One of the shops that I frequent has a couple of Moreschi models in blue peccary. It's not quite as garish as you might imagine. One of the shoes that I want to do at some point is JL Paris's William in green Scotch grain. Not particularly tasteful, but fun. But Edward Green in either one? I don't think so.

I have indeed gotten my Stowes, so that's not an option. Besides, I would have to get different pairs to match each of my sock colors, and that would hardly be economical.

They were ordered during the first week in February, and they were here by the first week in May. Given my previous experience, 3 months is lightening-quick.

Mine should be here soon then. Ordered the exact same pair (not completely sure on the color) March 20th. Didn't think to order the nails on the toe though. Great-looking shoes.

Didn't you get the Vass Oxford Medallions in cognac too? Just got those earlier this week.
