I generally buy by color. It goes something like this:

"Burnt Pine, I'll take the lot. Oh, why not throw in anything you've got in Edwardian, too."

My Grants need some EG (sale) companions. Can someone please confirm: RLPL 9/9.5D = EG 9/9.5E for same last? Alternatively what is the outsole width on an EG of this size (not RLPL) shoe on 888 last?

In my opinion, the RLPL D width is slightly wider than the EG D width. If the Grants fit you fine, I would go with the EG D width.
