I've been posting in different threads trying to track down an Engineered Garments wool Bedford Knit, but haven't gotten a single response from anyone. I had one I was about to pull the trigger on at Drinkwaters, only to find that it was sold moments before I was going to call.

I assume these are from an older collection, but I'd do anything to get my hands on one.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy one? Or rather, can anyone put me in touch with someone who may be able to help me track one down?

Any help is hugely appreciated. Thanks.

They're sold out everywhere, which is why you probably didn't get a response. What size do you need?

I'm thinking I'll need a medium. I'm a medium in most things, like JCrew. I'll need one that's about 21 inches pit to pit.

I'm willing to bet you'd be a Large in it. I am a small in J Crew and a L fit me pretty well, but a M might have been better.

That said, I have NO idea where to get one. Wait for one to popup on a FS thread??

Have you tried Rakuten's sites? I'm not sure they still show past collections, but maybe PM the Rakuten representative on this forum to see if they have any available. It might cost you more purchasing from Japan, but if you want it that bad that may be an option.

Chin up soldier! The wait may pay off in the long run.

^I am hoping for more Andovers in the grey tweed to go with the pants and vest that I have. Bedfords just do not look good on me.

Total bummer that I just missed out on another opportunity for the Bedford knit from the B&S forum. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might be able to find myself one of these?

Thanks.

It's going to be a matter of luck and patience. It's past the F/W season so you won't be able to buy one in stores in a medium (most likely.) If you want you could call all the EG stockists in the US/EU to see if any of them have any left. You should keep an eye on the B&S forum here and the one on SUFU (less likely but still possible.)

You can't expect this forum to do all the work for you... I've gotten in touch with stores all over NA and EU before looking for stuff, just put some effort in. In any event the season is coming to an end, just put your money towards SS stuff and wait for the next go around.

Thanks for the advice. But just for the record, I'm looking for a large.

Actually, I logged in to see that I had two PMs from him. The first one said that he was willing to come down in price for me by a few dollars, and then the second one said it had been sold already. I just wasn't quick enough. Bummer.
