its the US width.
I was under the impression that E. Green widths were not comparable to US (D=C, E=D, etc.). Is this pair made specifically for US market, and if so, how can you tell?

the only thing I can go on are the EGs I own (12 pair). They are all D width. I wear a D width in all shoes. Therefore, I am assuming EG's D width is a US D width.

I'm with AJL on this -- I was under the same impression regarding width.

As far as the width question, I stand by my observation. I wear an 11 D in Allen Edmonds. I wear an 11D in Alden. I wear an 11D in Edward Green. I dont come EVEN CLOSE to fitting into a C width in any shoes. Therefore, to me at least, logic would assert that EG D width is a US D width. Additionally, and I might be wrong about this, but I am pretty sure a D is a D is a D. Its only the numbers that dont translate exactly. Bengal-stripe et al are more qualified than myself to speak about that specifically though.
