They are Warwicks, not Banburys, but beautiful nonetheless

So, it says 10.5. I'm a 10.5. Do EG's run a little bit bigger than the size indicates? I could use a shoe like that.

No, I think it says 10.5/11D. What does that translate into for US sizing?

it says 10 1/2 / 11 D 606 on these boots.  10 1/2 is the british size.  11 is the US size.  D is the width.  606 is the last.

I wear an 11 D US, therefore I wear this size EGs.

Phil,

I fit OK into a Ferragamo sized for US 11D. I wonder if the EG 10 1/2/11D is comparable?

Perhaps others would offer different opinions, but to me at least it is an exercise in futility to try to figure out if a pair of shoes will fit without trying them on. Its just impossible. I own 3 pairs of EGs in the 606 last, and each one fits differently. The 2 pair of Dovers I have on the 606 are very snug across the top of my foot, yet the Olney boots I have in the 606 fit completely differently. I am assuming these Warwick boots would fit me like the Olneys, but there really is no way to be sure. Likewise, I have 3 pair of Alden boots, each on the same last. They fit totally different. All the same size and all FIT, but they all fit differently.

It depends on the Ferragamo last and the characteristics of your feet, but that's the first size that I would try if I were you.

Wow, that's really tempting. My size (though I haven't tried on this model, of course).

I'm not a big fan of the pebbled leather look, but if it goes for $90....

Sadly I have a lovely pair of brown cap-toes from Cleverley, so don't need another pair.

Here's my guess -- the boots will go for $400 and the Chelseas will go for $300. The boots are so rare on EBay though, that I could see a bidding war pushing the price closer to $500. The photo of the sole of the Chelseas indicates these are barely worn; it appears the boots are similarly nearly new.

Doesn't a British "D" width better translate into a US "C" width? Or is this the US width?
