EG 202 vs. Alden lasts

Understand that it's like apples vs. oranges, but for those who own and like EG's in the 202 last, it would be really helpful to me to know what Alden lasts (and what sizes) also work for you. I know -- your results will vary -- but I'm curious. Thanks.

I have EG chelsea on EG 202 last. Wine. 6/6.5 E & blalck Alden plain captoe bal on Hampton last in size 6.5 b/d. They both fit me fine...can't really tell which fit me better. However, EG 202 last is a tad more elegant IMO.

This is helpful, as I actually need to size up 1/2 size on the Hampton versus most other US shoes and other Alden lasts (i.e., I'm an 11.5 C or D in the Hampton, while I'm an 11C or D in the Barrie and an 11D in the Aberdeen).

I agree that the Hampton last fits similarly to the EG 202. I take a 9D in both.

I think the Plaza is Alden's best looking last, but I don't think it looks much like the 202.
