    Guys,

I remember reading somewhere that we can get a VAT refund for the Edward Green shoes we bought during the last sale. Is that possible or wishful thinking??

If you mean Asprey, not likely - the retailer has to fill out the form, and they were unwilling to do that after the first couple of overseas orders.

If you're speaking of the EG January sale at Burlington Arcade, my VAT refund came through in mid-Feb. Typically, retailers won't bother to do the documentation after the fact, however.

How did you get it? Did you fill out some paper work? Did you have to ask them for it when you bought it? Really I have no idea how this works.

    thanks,

They'd deduct it at time of shipment (if they were being shipped out of the EU), wouldn't they?

THe VAT was deducted from my order directly by Asprey. Though to J's point, I think mine was one of the first phone orders.
