1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I came to the same conclusion as soon as I posted my message. I reserved the Yardley which should go out in a cocuple of weeks. Again thank you for the info.

daytrader - They had two Yardleys in my size, one in Dark Oak and one in Chestnut. I took the Dark Oak and I'm sure they have more in other sizes.

Nice shoes in the pics. Yours? I have the double Dainite sole on a Halifax boot, but I hope that the Yardley I ordered has a leather sole. Not that I would turn my nose up at a Dainite soled Yardley at these discounted prices...

Edward Green's "Yardley" usually comes with a single leather sole (as featured in the catalogue). I presume that the version with the Dainite sole was a special order; either for an individual customer, or a store ordered them with these particular specifications.

I'm pretty certain the shoes you will be getting come with a leather sole. They would have mentioned it otherwise.
