A pair of Edward Green brogues for sale.
Marked UK 7F. 202 last. Fits very slightly bigger than a true US 8, and it is for this reason I'm listing it up for sale. Slightly wider (F width) as well.
I got them off eBay less than a month ago and have worn them for about half a dozen times. As with all the other shoes I have recently listed up for sale here, these; to my chagrin, just refuse to fit me. They are too wide and just a tad bit too long.
Has an amazing patina acquired through time. No idea how old these are.
Flush rubber toe taps installed. Leather sole, with a rubber heel looks like it got replaced/newly attached. I replaced the original laces (no idea where I put them) as they were falling apart (the plastic bits at the end were missing) and seemed way too short.
As this is obviously not a very recent shoe, blemishes exist. I see very slight scuff marks around the shoes, but nothing too major that would require attention. I've kept them polished well with a new tin of Saphir light brown polish.
Detailing is nothing short of impressive, as people have come to know EG for. The punched brogue holes are very refined, to a standard even the Vass I recently sold doesn't possess.
I'm really sad these don't fit me. I've tried wearing them with insoles and heel pads, but none have worked out. The insoles end up being moved too far backwards and become more of an annoyance than help.
Shoe trees not included.
Asking price is $500 + fees + $40 shipping (to the US); $560 sent as normal payment to my PayPal account. Shipping will be by way of registered mail, which is trackable and signature-required, much like USPS' Priority Mail.
