I have a pair of unworn walnut country calf with rugged ridgeway soles 64 last boots UK 8.5. If anyone is interested please let me know. I just happen to have a few too many pairs in that last - I need room for something different. Best. Merv.

^^ What good is a rule that is not broken ? ?

I wear formal wear and take my Galways in for a ride all the time. They hold up just fine ... and with menswear quality doing down the drain in most places and work places becoming more casual, I still come across as a bit over dressed. 82 is easily the most contemporary of the lasts. The first pic is 202 ..

There was also a black cap toe - I believe the Chelsea in 7.5UK on the 82 for about $385 but there was a fellow shoe guy looking at them who asked me about them while I was snapping a couple photos so longer shot that they will still be there but can check.

Question regarding Portland/ Albert.

I usually wear UK 7.5 to 8 on EG, 82/ 888 on UK8 feel a little bit roomy but comfortable. 82 on 7.5 is tight but okay.

I bought a pair of Portland in 7.5 before, it was too tight that I have to sell it. I then tried another pair in UK8, feel slight better but still little bit tight.

I have below 2 questions:
1. Would Portland get a bit loosen after couple wears? trying to determine if I should sell it or keep it.

2.Does Albert fit differently with Portland? Someone told me he feel a bit roomy in the Albert but wanted to collect more feeback.

Portland is just an unstructured house slipper, should soften considerably. As for the Albert, isn’t that a slipper too?

Not sure how to edit this but update - A guy on the forum got these and they aren’t available anymore. Sorry to the guys who reached out. I tried to do it as diplomatically as I knew how to which was that the first guy to ask got them. They should be to him by the weekend.
