It's a rough leather from Horween named Zug, filled with waxes and oils. Heaviest one I've ever seen!

Think I quoted a customer around 1650-1700 GBP some months ago. Differs with models and leathers, though.

No. Its easier for them to source leathers from merchants than it would be for me.
