So I’m apparently quite out of the loop, when did EG bring back zug? I remember when the heather gorse zug supposedly had a last run several years ago and now there a multiple colors available?

How many zug colors are there and how does it compare to the old stuff?

This is a Horween leather called zug. It's not the same supplier as the Heather Gorse, but the fattest and heaviest leather EG could supply!

There are some colours available. I personally have a Dover in classic tan grain called English Oak. Nishant Cranleigh is one called Willow, and there's a couple of others too.

I've tried to wear mine through hell the first month. We've had some severely ****** days here, but yet to try the winter slush of Oslo. ?

Good to hear that other colors are available. I had thought only the burgundy was obtainable (which I have in a Bonafe boot and it feels indestructible).

@steveyoo1983 is Willow zug a possibility for a Galway MTO? Is it super similar in shade to the soon to arrive Mahogany CC?
