I have both my same size and a half down. There isn't much difference but my half size down is a suede Galway so feel like it has more give to it

I want to buy EG Ambleside, but I don't know if I am 9 or 8,5UK.
All my EG shoes (Galway in 82 too) are 9UK, but I have to say 82 is a bit big in comparation to 202 or 64 for example.

I would say the 72 fits similar to 202 with more vamp and toe volume. I assume the 82 is too long for you?

I'm a firm 7.5 uk in all EG lasts... except for 72. In the 72 I am a 7uk and after a handful of wears it feels gorgeously form-fitted to perfection and makes me want more 72 lasted boots. Nothing feels as good.

I take the same size in 72as the rest of my EGs, but I wear them with thick socks.
