Never have to worry about denim colour transfer with blue suede. Shanklin on 202 with EG rubber soles.

If you wear UK 7E in other shoe brands like C&J, John Lobbs then the appropriate size for Edward Greens is UK 7.5E. That may be part of the fit issues.
Arghh. It does seem a half size too tight.
i did initially ask for 7.5, but tried both 7.5 and 7 in the store. The guy advised that 7 was a better fit. I wonder if the display shoes are more stretched or broken in due to wear, compared to a factory freshly made shoe?

They will loosen. I went through the same thing a few months ago with my first pair of EG's. They downright hurt my feet for the first two full day wears. After about wear three, they got better. Now the fit like a glove and are probably my most comfortable fitting shoes. Best of luck!
Thanks for the reassurance! ?

I don’t want to have wasted £1200 on shoes that don’t fit...?

Like that, huh? Took a while.

Looks excellent, man.

I suck at mirror shining and it would have taken me forever to get close to your results. I should buy some of the saphir mirror gloss or whatever it's called.

Thank you, good sir. Wanna know what I use now? Boot Black. That **** polishes twice as fast as Saphir and last 3 times as long.

Pretty sure EGs own polish is just boot black rebranded.

I own every product they make, I think. Dumped all my Saphir. As one user above indicated, EG’s own polish is re-branded Boot Black.
