Any recommendations on how to polish and maintain a pair of Galways in Rosewood CC?

Is it any different because of the grain leather?

I’ve always just used neutral cream every now and then on mine and they are still going strong after 5 years.

From my experience since the valleys and peaks are different colours it's very easy to get polish caught in the grain. Happened to my grey country calf. Would probably err on matching the darker colour than the lighter. Or neutral.
