Regarding boots sizing do you stick to your usual size ? If I am usually 8,5F on 888, 808 (best fit) and 82, should I stay with this size ? (I guess a 9E would work too).

Meh. I’m honestly underwhelmed. Boots are either a traditional above-the-ankle boot (like the Galway) or they’re chukkas. This is lukewarm, and we all know what the good lord says about being lukewarm.

Same i don't look to EG for my hiking boot needs. I fail to see how it fits into the range, but to each their own.

@reidd I own this pair as well--great shoe. Where did you get them?

The bay.

Update: Taking them on their second wear today. Have to admit, felt pretty not comfortable walking out of the house this morning and not fantastic as of this writing. Stretch dammit!

My first post on here for a long time. A recent acquisition from a member here, a pair of Galways on 82 last. I had a few pairs already, but on the 72 or 64 and wanted something a little more elegant.

A few of my pairs have taken some time to stretch into being comfortable, as long as the length is there you should get there, but it could take quite a few wears.

Luckily both days, they have gotten more comfortable as the day went on. I would be much more worried if the opposite were true.
I put my Vass F last trees in them last night to hopefully expedite the process. I'm going to persevere!
