Does anyone know how old EG models compare to the new models?

I have the chance to purchase a model numbered 11000 (ish) and was wondering will the leather /finishing be better. Did the lasts fit differently? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could anyone roughly name the year of production?

Thanks in advance

They wood of been produced on the old wooden lasts and therefore you would need to half size up.

For those with experience in loafer sizing.

Say on an 82 last length is fine and width is snug. Is the 184 last narrower than the 82. I have heard the 184 is narrower than the 202 last but does it mean its comparable to 82 or even narrower than the 82.

How does the instep feel on the 82? I really like the fit of the 82, but the 184's instep is much too low for comfort.

Its snug but nothing too much. With the 82 its perfect besides the ball being a little tight. I couldn’t go any tighter in the ball measurement.

Sorry I can't be much more help. I haven't owned anything on the 184 in years as it didn’t fit right out of the box so was promptly returned. All I remember was the low vamp putting way too much pressure on my instep.
