82 vs 915: I'm a size 9E in 82s - pick 9E in the 915 and well?

For comparison I'm an 8.5E in C&J 348 and 341, and 8.5E in JL 7000 and 8000.
I have both. They fit the same. I thought the 915 would be narrower and I would need half a size bigger but not the case at all for me.

But I regretted buying them. The 82 is much better.

Thanks dude. What's wrong with the 915? Too narrow? Looks like something an estate agent would wear?

I don't know. You don't have to listen to me since this is personal preference. You said you already own a pair on the 82 last? Are you now looking at a completely different type of shoe or pretty much the same but wanted to also try the 915? If so, what excites you about the 915? That is more pointy? They call it more modern but I don't see how pointy and modern are synonymous. If you like the looks of the 915 then go for it. If I get a chance later I can take a pic of the 915 and 82 side by side to compare.

Just something different I suppose - I guess the JL 7000 is like the EG82, and C&J 341. The EG915 looks like the C&J 348.

Always good to hear what other folks have to say, would love to see a side by side if you have time to show me.

actually this pics shows the 915 to be longer. They are not, it's just the pic.

I think the 915 has a higher toe wall/side (not sure what the correct terminology is there), right?
